Ribbon Lake Hike

All clean, all ready, but perhaps not expecting to be hiking most of the next 3-4 hours in the dark.

Our first night campground.

Ya baby
A break before attempting the cliff.

Not only cute, but she's an amazing climber too.

Destination #2, home for the next 2 nights.
Shade break after the climb.
Off on our day hike...which ended up with us on the top of a mountain.

A view of Ribbon Lake, and the valley of our ascent.

 More to climb.

Cresting the mountain to view the other side made it all worth it.

Are you able to spot Susan?

"For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made."

A view of Ribbon Lake from Mount Kidd South Peak, and the cliffs that lead to the Falls on the right.

Mountain slide.

A view of Ribbon Creek Trail and Mt. Bogart

Mountain break.

How long have these mountains been here?

Mount Kidd South Peaks that Evelyn and I were on.

Post hike ho-down back at the ranch.

Ready for the hike down.

Creek rest area on the way down.
According to other reports, and the sign at the Falls, the km markings on this sign are incorrect. It is actually 11km to the Falls from Ribbon Creek parking lot.
